Welcome to The Barkyard, Syracuse’s newest trusted home away from home for dogs!

Our founder has spent many years working in the dog care industry and brings that passion and experience into everything we do. We know that every dog is unique, and we’re committed to giving each pup the attention, playtime, and care they deserve.

Firstly, we will be offering doggy daycare services—a safe, fun, and social environment where your furry friend can play, exercise, and relax while you’re away. Later this year we’ll also be opening our overnight boarding services, so your pets can enjoy the same level of comfort and care even when you’re traveling.

At The Barkyard, we’re more than just a daycare—we’re a community for dogs and their families in Syracuse, NY. Our mission is simple: to provide a loving, secure place where dogs are happy, healthy, and excited to come back again and again.

You’ve got questions,
we’ve got answers!

  • We are currently planning on opening beginning to mid February. If you want more information send us a message and we will inform you when we are ready to take care of you furry friend!

  • During opening we will be offering full daycare services, and will be adding boarding in the following months!

  • For the safety of our teammates and other dogs, each dog will need to go through an interview process to be approved for care.

    All dogs will also be required to have up to date rabies shots, kennel cough, and distemper/parvo.

  • The daycare will operate…

    Mon - Fri 6am - 6pm

    Optional late pickup until 8pm for an additional fee.

    Saturday 8am - 4pm
